Hmm, I never thought of that as negative. I would rather be called impaired
than disabled. :) I suppose if someone's ability to drive is impaired, it
just means they can't drive very well. So for us to be visually impaired it
means we can't see well? I dunno...
Also, if you say blind, people seem to assume that you can't see at all,
whereas visually impaired can mean that people have some vision but it's
impaired, right? Just thinking "out loud"...
