Good evening NFBNM friends and family,

 

In case you've not heard, New Mexico has joined a handful of states adopting
Mobile ID. This means that you can add your New Mexico Driver's License or
State ID to your digital walled. See the link for more information.

I can confirm that using Apple Wallet, this is completely accessible and I'm
more excited to say that once verified, the information on your ID is
completely accessible using Voiceover. I can read my name, ID number, date
of birth, etc all from my mobile ID.

 

For those who use Android, this is also possible, I don't have firsthand
experience with accessibility, however, I am making an assumption that it
would be accessible using Talkback.
