Hi all,
The physics and mathematics books in Bookshare are fully accessible, that
is, the equations and figures are described, so that a blind person has
access to them?

Sincerely,
Luís Fernando.

Only problem with Bookshare is that the technically-oriented books, valuable
as they are, do not have descriptions and/or three-dimensional renderings of
figures and diagrams. So a reader is still essential.

Have you tried Bookshare? I've managed to find some of my science textbook
there so I bet they have some books avaiable for download in Daisy, Text, or
BRF formats. Are you looking for braille or audio?
