[Nfb-science] 3D engineering software

Hello Mike:

The only 3d program that is remotely accessible is OpenScad. OpenScad
isn't like any other 3d drawing program. The user defines shapes in terms of
geometric formulae. OpenScad could be described as a combination of
programming, geometry and set theory. The JAWS user writes a text file and
then compiles the file. You can get an STL file as output which can be 3d
printed. The interactive mode for OpenScad is not or wasn't accessible when
I tried it in 2014.

Regards,

Robert

Has anyone used a 3D drawing program successfully with JAWS? I have a
student starting in a STEM program in August and are looking into what will
work if anything.
