[NFB-Seniors] Seeing your help with short testimonials

I would suggest you begin with a committee and gage the interest. That way you don't need to go through the mechanics of doing a division unless some future event really requires the formality. Denise can appoint a committee easily. I love that we are focusing on our seniors and exploring these kinds of options.

Hi Patti

I've toyed with the idea of trying to get a senior division going in Illinois. When I see much smaller states like Nebraska and Minnesota with an active senior division, I wonder why we don't have one in Illinois. Note that the major thrust in those senior divisions mentioned is by teleconference meetings, much like the at-large divisions. Using those models, forming such a group in Illinois doesn't seem like an impossibility.

Do you think there is enough interest in a senior division in Illinois to pursue the topic?

Bob
