Wow, awesome message, David. I don't think that admitting that  
somethings are harder for blind people than they are for sighted goes  
against the NFB philosophy.  It only means that you have to try  
harder, get proper training, and occasionally get an accomodation.  
Given those 3 things, a blind person can do almost anything a sighted  
person can do.
