The best laid plans ..... and all that.  One problem, I am sure, is 
that many convention spaces are reconfigured throughout the 
week.  Back in 1981, for about a year, I recorded conferences for a 
living, and know how difficult that was, in much simpler days, 
analog, no streaming etc.  They know it isn't working and are trying to fix!
