My own view is that there is a missed oportunity here.  To portray a competant blind reff would be a positive thing indeed.  IF that's what this little piece was trying to do, I could actually find it within myself to almost applaud it;  almost.

Actually, I'm happy this subject came up in this way because I have been looking for a way to explore this for quite some time.  I actually could find it within myself to agree with both Steve and Sherri on this one.  Yes, we have much serious work to do:  but, how can we say we are normal if we can't actually behave like the normal human beings we are and still be called serious federationists?  Answer, we cannot.  I shall expand more on this tomorow.
