When I worked with mine before I had to give it back, it seemed to work just 
fine in cold weather, and that was a brutally cold winter.  I read, however, 
that if the wind was unusually strong, it might not work properly.

hi, I had forgotten what those sonic guides were called but I remember
seeing one and thought that they were cool. I knew there was a lot of
money to come up with to get one and no one was sure how they would do
in ccold weather.
