[nfbcs] Total Recorder

As part of the Sound Computing service,k I prepared, several tutorials about
Total Recorder. My memory is such that as I go a while without usinjg some
technology, its knowledge fades. Basically, in Xp, you can choose whether
or not you want to hear the stream as it is recording by choosingthe silent
recording option in TR, and it should record the stream without capturing
the screen reader. If it does not, High Criteria support issued some
registry fixes to get both Jaws and window-Eyes out of the way of its
recordings. I have copies of them somewhere that I can send you. With JAWS
10, even in Vista, uyou can redirect JAWS to another sound card and then let
TR recorded unhindered through the standard one.

How does one disable output from the playing program to the sound card but
keep it recording?

Thanks.
