Try running \virtual pc cursor when nomlock is off, hit the plus
button. Than do the read all commands to read the lines, jaws needs to
get a little better with CMD. Make sure you do not use your up and
down arrows else it will select the line and read it, that is fine,
but make sure you clear the text before typing commands if you do so.
JAWS 12 is ok with CMD, but they don’t really consider the blind
people in the computer field and how that is a problem. I am still
learning NVDA, but from what I have seen done (heard people present
me) it is far better with cmd. Also, it is not just used for computer
pros, I use it when I need to do things that would just take forever
to find the gui icon and I want to be able to get the job done for
someone. Maybe 19, but all you really have to do is do your research
before running cmd. It took a year before I would touch it, but if
you can learn it, it helps you out in ways you would not think of.
