[nfbcs] Speakers

I'm looking at new speakers for my computer.  I use the speakers almost 
exclusively for the screen reader, so hi-fi stereo sound is not important, 
but volume control and clarity are.  Does anyone have a favorite they'd care 
to reccomend?  I've been looking at the little USB-powered speakers on 
Amazon, but I'm not sure how good the volume control is--if one just gets 
soft or loud, without much in between.
