You may certainly dispute my argument however, the fact remains, you still 
have to learn it at work.

People, regardless of "ability", are forced to use computers, systems, 
languages, they may or may not like.
If that was untrue, I would not have had to write technical manuals for 
departments that didn't know the difference between a print queue and a pool 
cue.
