[nfbcs] Trouble with IE8

Tracy,

I have seen this problem with IE 8 sometimes, and it was also an issue with Window-Eyes although Window-Eyes seems to have
lessened this. My experience has been that the problem happens less with IE 8 under Windows 7, but that doesn't make it go away
completely. The problem you will run into is that you are likely in a small group of users still on IE 8 and XP, so these
problems may not be surfacint readily in their testing. You should make the contact anyway, though.

I don't remember the entire sequence of events, but have you tried running IE 8 with no add-ins to see if it is more stable? The
pattern I have noticed with Window-Eyes, XP and IE 8 is that if I run it once just after booting up that it often doesn't respond.
If I wait and close IE 8, it runs after that much better. You might try closing JFW, running and closing IE 8 with NVDA, and then
restarting JFW to see if that results in more stable operation. I'm not saying that you should have to do this, but I've long
since given up on thinking that I should have a right to expect that software not be released without bugs. <smile>

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
