Move focus to the column you wish to delete and press control -, then make selection and press enter.

Subject: [nfbcs] Deleting a column in Excel 2010

I did this in 1 spreadsheet, but can't seem to do it again.
The Help says to select the column. Easy. Then open the Home ribbon and
click Delete. I hit alt to get the ribbon, then, if I arrow around, I get
stuck in Font selection. If I use the Jaws cursor and the Jaws mouse click
when it says delete, it leaves the menu, but doesn't delete the column.
What's the trick?
The ribbon is confusing, as I've heard people say before.
Tracy
