[nfbcs] Grub Question:

Maybe you mean grml linux? I've never heard of grub linux. Grub is a 
boot loader so your boot disk might have come up with a .grub menu.

If your distro is actually grml, you can get software speech by doing 
the following:

1. After the system finishes booting, and plays the grml tune, press the 
q key. This exits the grml menu.
2. Type the following:

modprobe speakup_soft
espeakup

That'll about do it.
