	Another way to possibly get things working is to use ssh port
forwarding from the VM to your local machine and then use the browser on
your local machine to provide an accessible solution.  I'm not too familiar
with Windows ssh clients, but if you can enable port forwarding with such a
client, this should work pretty well.  (This will definitely work on a
Mac.) I suggest reading the ssh man page, in particular about the -g and -L
options.
