First install emacs; emacspeak is an emacs add-on. Then install
emacspeak. Speaking of that, emacs is accessible and available for
Windows too. Emacs is supported as is emacspeak.
help-gnu-emacs at gnu.org help-gnu-emacs-request at gnu.org with subject:
subscribe can help get you on the main emacs support list.
emacspeak-request at cs.vassar.edu with subscribe in subject: can help get
you on the emacspeak email list and yes the email archives for the
emacspeak email list do have messages on emacspeak support for the mac
others have it working. To read emacs documentation you'll need the
info command and the emacs info pages I think are available for windows
in some form and are definitely available for the mac. The version of
emacs is about to jump to 25 and there may be digits after the decimal
point when it does too. If downloading emacs for mac or windows try to
get at least version 24.51 since that's the current version.
