Hi,
If you go to the voice you wish to remove, double-tap it, you should get an
option to remove it.
Sharon is one of my favorite voices.
I also like Paul and Julie.
Thanks,
Jessica

Subject: [nfbcs] Using Voice Dream Reader with Voiceover

Good evening everyone,

This afternoon I bought Voice Dream Reader so we can read
Bookshare.org books on our iDevices. When the program was launched I was
given the option of using the Sharon and the male voice with this App. I
can't remember what the name of the male voice is. For those late in this
loop I've been having on-going storage issues. One way to avoid unnecessary
storage use is to use the Voiceover voice in all Apps. I already installed
Sharon but would like to remove her from my iPhone and just use the female
Voiceover voice. I was told that installed voices can hog memory and
storage. How does one remove unwanted voices from their iDevice to free up
storage and just use Voiceover in apps such as Voice Dream Reader? Knowing
this should help us resolve storage issues. Ultimately it looks like I'll
need to upgrade my iPhone in order to have more memory and storage if I'm
going to use installed voices such as Sharon. Further assistance with
resolving this one will be very much appreciated.

Peter Donahue
