[nfbcs] Braille and remote desktop

I am using Remote Desktop to connect from my laptop to my desktop at work.
At least a couple times a day, RDP loses the connection for a nanosecond,
then reconnects.  Sometimes when it reconnects, I lose my braille display,
and I have to close everything down to get back to the laptop, where the
braille display is re-acquired, then log back into RDP.

Is there an easier way to re-acquire the display?

I am using Jaws 18 and Windows 7.
