[nfbcs] Issue with Sounds in Microsoft Office 365

Kathy,

Depending upon your sound card, sometimes different applications have their
own level controls and mute buttons. It might be worth checking that out in
"Adjust System Volume". Second, I just bought a new computer and downloaded
Office 365 and the version I downloaded was substantially older than the
version I had on another computer that had been updating. I did not
understand that at all, but that version does not seem to have the same
sound options. I can't get the modern sound scheme choice for example, and
it is controlled differently. I suppose it will be updated at some point.
I don't know if either of these relate to the problem you are having,
though, but you never know.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Subject: [nfbcs] Issue with Sounds in Microsoft Office 365

Hi,

I recently was upgrated to a new laptop. I cannot get the sounds to work in
Office 365. I was able to get the Sounds installed but when I go to Ease of
Access in options and check the sounds box, the sounds do not play. Any
Ideas?

Am using the newest version of JAWS 18, Windows 10, and the latest Ofice
365.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have done this several times and
this is the first time I cannot make it work.
