How much is it possible to do using the shell? Can I write entire apps, compile them etc? My employer wants me to rewrite an app in Swift and there's no way I can use Xcode for everything. The swift REPL isn't working for me. When I type swift at the terminal I get a blank screen. Entering lines of code results in nothing. I have to exit with control+z.
