[nfbcs] Unable to use SFC and DISM to check windows 10 integrity

I want to check the integrity of my Windows 10 installation.
According to Microsoft, I should enter Command Prompt, and run
Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM.exe)
And System File Checker (SFC.exe)

Like so:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow


I *do have Administrator privileges.
Yet, when I enter the commands... nothing happens. Most embarrassing! ;)
I'm sure it's something obvious I'm not doing.

Suggestions?
