[nfbcs] Developers creating cross platform cloud apps and providing accessibility feedback

In a non-web-based app, my normal answer is to look for menubar menus like Tools to get around anything that most sighted people reach via a toolbar. In a web app though, I'm not sure if there would be a similar equivalent.

Nothing is labeled with ???tools???, and before I reach out to their support team in order to limit the friction that may arise, I???d like to be armed with as much information as possible.

Therefore, does anyone have any recommendations for making what might be the tool they???re using more user-friendly for blind users?

Or is it really as simple as asking their support team to request that their engineering  team add alt text to the tools icon representing the tools menu?
