[nfbcs] Window-Eyes question

Hello Jim:

This is not so much a Window-Eyes problem as it is one of a hidden Windows shortcut. If the Window-Eyes shortcut on the Desktop does not have the ctrl-alt-w shown as a shortcut, then there is another place hidden where the shortcut key has been setup. Microsoft should be able to help you find and either eliminate or fix it.

The way to phrase the question with Microsoft is to say, “I have a shortcut ctrl alt w which starts Window-Eyes which I wold like to change, and said shortcrt is not associated with the Window-Eyes icon on the desktop. How can I find and fix it?”

800-936-5900.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

To those who remember about this screen reader:

I am an experienced Window-Eyes user and I have installed it along with JAWS
on my newer computers as it sometimes can read things that are a problem for
JAWS. I find that the installation sets a Windows hot key of
"control-alt-W" to launce the program. I would prefer a different hot key
and the "W" is not the one used by the shortcut on the desktop.

Does anyone know where the "W" hotkey is defined and how to remove it.

Thanks.
