[NFBCS] jaws zoom key

Good morning:

For JAWS users, I highly recommend spending the $40 to purchase the Zoom scripts from Hartgen Consultancy. The expenditure is well worth it.

I hope that both NVDA and Narrator will incorporate support for disabling the announcement of alerts as a user setting.

Best regards,

Curtis Chong

Hello:

In JAWS 2019 and 2020, the key you are looking for is Windows+Alt+S as in
sierra. This is a toggle and it will say "alerts enabled or alerts
disabled".

hello. I had some success with NVDA and Zoom in this regard. I
used NVDA-S, which toggles speech mode through various settings. I still
have to endure the arrival and departure alerts when I want to use Zoom to
do something, but if all I'm doing is listening to a meeting, then this
functionality works. This key is like turning speech off on VoiceOver, that
is, VoiceOver is still running, but it doesn't talk.
Not sure if there is an equivalent command in Jaws. It would be nice to be
able to silence the alerts without having to turn the voice off completely,
but it's a start.
