I suspect that Microsoft Edge and Word might be deciding they know what you want better than you do.  Make sure that Word isn't getting the title and the URL when you copy and paste it into Word.  It is possible that more attributes are copied and used when the link is created.  If it is doing that, you should be able to go into the Properties of the link in word and copy the URL over the title of the link.  You could also copy the URL into NotePad and then copy that into Word to strip off any extra information.  You might also check the Paste options within the ribbon rather than using CONTROL-V and one of those options might be plain text which should just grab the URL.

Hello:

I'm using APA style for my papers in school which requires me to include 
the actual website link in my references page. Unfortunately, I'm only 
getting the title of the webpage when I paste it into Microsoft Word from 
the address bar. How do I also extract the actual link? I'm using 
Microsoft Edge with Jaws 2021. Thanks.
