[NFBCS] has anyone taken the EC Counsil certified network Defender certification?

Hi Amelia,

I have looked into taking the CEH exam. If you or your University has
access to O'Reilly Media, it used to be Safari Books Online, there are a
ton of computer books on certifications from CEH, CompTIA and others.
Bookshare also has many O'Reilly books in accessible format.

Second, you mentioned virtual environments. Yes, you could SSH into the
virtual machines. However, some of the tools they may want you to use
have graphical interfaces. The command line tools would be fine with the
SSH interface but but may not work with some of the graphical interface
utilities. If there is a screen reader, either JAWS, NVDA, or Orca for
the Linux programs on both the local and remote web system, the virtual
machines may work for you.

There are many knowledgeable     people on this list who can help who
may know more than I do about these issues, but I am happy to help.

Feel free to write me privately if I can help more at:
Beth.chocolategeek at gmail.com.

Best Regards,

Beth
