Compañeros Federacionistas:

             El mensaje siguiente viene de Diane McGeorge que organiza

  mucha de la logística del estudio de Washington.

             La hora está llegando más cerca de lo que puede ser que
piensen. Nuestro Estudio de Washington del 2009, funcionará a partir del
domingo 8 de febrero hasta el Miércoles 11 de febrero. "Consiga por favor 
sus
reservaciones cuanto antes." Nuestro plazo para  reservaciones del hotel es
el 5 de enero del 2009, que está cerca de un mes solamente.

             Lo que sigue es la información que necesito tener para
asegurarle un cuarto en el Holiday Inn. La dirección del Holiday Inn en el
Capitolio es 550 C Street SW, Washington, DC 20024.

1. En primer lugar necesitaré tener los nombres de las personas en el
cuarto. Deletree por favor el nombre y apellido de cada persona si hace la
reservación por teléfono. Puede hacer eso llamando al: (303) 778-1130,
extensión 219, o correo electrónico (véase abajo); y

2. Necesitaré tener su fecha de llegada, y fecha de salida. Si la gente que
está compartiendo el cuarto, y sus fechas de llegada y salida son
diferentes a las suyas, esté por favor seguro de indicar eso; y

3. Necesitaré saber si desea un sitio de fumar, o un sitio de no fumador.
También, si tiene cualesquiera requisitos especiales, por favor dígalo. Por
ejemplo, si requiere un cuarto accesible, por favor incluya esa información.
Si desea tener una cama con ruedas en el cuarto, déjeme por favor saberlo.
Si pide una cama con ruedas, habrá una carga adicional de 15 dólares por
noche; y

4. Si hace su reservación por teléfono, y si tiene una dirección de correo
electrónico, deje por favor esa dirección de modo que pueda enviarle la
confirmación de que su reservación fué recibida y procesada. Si no tiene una
dirección de correo electrónico, deje por favor un número telefónico de modo
que pueda llamarlo de regreso con una confirmación.

             Puede hacer sus reservaciones por correo electrónico enviando
su petición a Lisa Bonderson. La dirección de Lisa

de nosotros, Lisa o yo, le enviaremos una confirmación.

             Las tarifas del hotel son de 154 dólares por noche por simples,
dobles, triples y cuádruples.  Hay un impuesto del hotel adicional de 14.5%
por cada noche. Cuando llegue debe estar preparado para cubrir por lo menos
la primera noche de su estancia con una tarjeta de crédito, o cheque; y
entonces arregle el pago del resto presentando una tarjeta de crédito, o
escribiendo una comprobación por el resto del costo.

             Si las delegaciones estatales pagan a miembros con un cheque, o
una tarjeta de crédito, dígaselo por favor a Ed Cruz en el servicio de
contabilidad del capitolio del Holiday Inn antes de su llegada, y él tomará
las medidas especiales para su delegación. Es también muy recomendable
suministrar al Señor Cruz una lista de los nombres de personas que su
delegación pueden planear cubrir.

             También sería recomendable que me suministren la misma lista
antes de la llegada de modo que todos estemos en la misma página, y ésto
disminuya problemas. El señor Cruz ha sido siempre de mucha ayuda.

             Recuerde por favor, que el plazo es el 5 de enero del 2009.
Habrá un número de reuniones especiales durante el estudio, y querrá mirar 
la
página Cibernética de la Federación para los avisos especiales. La Gran
Reunión será llevada a cabo el domingo 8 de febrero, a las 5 p.m.
Ciertamente no querrá faltar a eso.

             Ojalá que esto conteste todas sus preguntas. Espero con placer
verlos a todos en D.C. en febrero.
