¡Enhorabuena a la Convención 2021!

La Federación Nacional de Ciegos presenta varias becas y premios que 
honran tanto a personas ciegas como a maestros, profesionales, 
emprendedores,

y organizaciones cuyo trabajo beneficia a la comunidad de los ciegos.

. Durante la Convención Nacional de la Federación de 2021, se entregaron 
tres premios importantes. Conoce a los ganadores:

• Jordana M. Engebretsen de Idaho fue nombrada la

2021 Educadora distinguida de estudiantes ciegos

en la reunión de la junta directiva el miércoles 7 de julio.

• Treinta eruditos destacados recibieron sus

Becas de la Federación

en el banquete de la convención, con Lizzy Muhammad-Park de Maryland 
ganando el premio máximo de la Beca Kenneth Jernigan de $12.000.

• Se presentó a seis destacados innovadores

con los Premios

Doctor Jacob Bolotin en el banquete, con el premio máximo de $20.000 
para to Eye Learn de Detroit, Michigan.

  2021 Convention Congratulations!

The National Federation of the Blind presents several scholarships and 
awards that honor blind individuals as well as teachers, professionals, 
entrepreneurs, and organizations whose work benefits the blind 
community. During the 2021 NFB National Convention, three major awards 
were presented. Meet the winners:

  * Jordana M. Engebretsen of Idaho was named the 2021 Distinguished
    Educator of Blind Students

    board of directors meeting on Wednesday, July 7.
  * Thirty outstanding scholars received their NFB scholarships

    convention banquet, with Lizzy Muhammad-Park of Maryland winning the
    top $12,000 Kenneth Jernigan Scholarship.
  * Six outstanding innovators were presented with the Dr. Jacob Bolotin

    the banquet, with the top award of $20,000 going to Eye Learn of
    Detroit, Michigan.
