Marion, I have spent 6 years speaking out to leaders and unfortunately
people like youself didn't like what I said or the fact that I got things
done without making excuses why they couldn't be done! Marion as far as
cowardice, please! The whole you are bringing all this crap out in the
memberships eye is your personal fued with Dan Hicks and nothing more! You
could of ccontacted him personally and quitely to protest the lethargy with
putting the minutes out there for all to read, and this is going to your
leaders as you just said in your comments to all that are reading! You are
nothing more that a damn hipocrit in what you say or do! I have withstood
people like yourself as long as I could and realized that this organization
is nothing more than blow hards as yourself and cowards themselves that have
got there leaderships by just following along like sheep and never speaking
the truth at what they see wrong for fear they might not be able to find the
next step in the NFB leadership ladder rung if they allowed there
disagreeing words get to the powers that be at National, God Forbid, ! So,
don't call me the coward my friend, look inward for sure! It is people like
yourself in the advocacy community thtat make me sick! good bye you ego
maniac! by the way, what the hell did you do as the State fundraiser when
you were chair? LOL! that's right, NOTHING! KH

Subject: [Nfbf-l] Communication is a Two-Way Street

Kirk and All,
With all due respect, communication is a two-way street. If we expect
better communication from our leadership, we must be willing to give it to
them, as well! If we, the membership, only share our disgruntled feelings
with each other and never take them to the leadership, we are doing a
disservice to our selves, our fellow Federationists, and the organization,
as a whole. There are a few of us who have been demanding transparency and
accountability from the Board of Directors for quite some time and we have
frequently felt like a lone voice! The NFB is founded on the concept of
collective action. Both words of this concept are important. We must speak
as a group, collectively, and be willing to work for change through our
actions. One aspect of this action is our vote. The membership - including
you and me - elected our Board. It is up to us to either demand
acountability to those who elected them or elect those who will listen to us
and do what we want them to do.
If you, Kirk, or any other member have something to say that concerns
this affiliate, say it publicly so that those of us who are advocating for
change do not feel alone in our efforts and so that the
Board knows the discension is not only one or two disgruntled members but a
general feeling that we are being betrayed and ignored by those we have
entrusted to do what is right for this affiliate! If you are unwilling to
speak out publicly, don't talk privately. This is cowardice!

Fraternally & Respectfully yours,
Marion Gwizdala
