Here's the answer I got on how to convert a table to text.. In older versions, there was a hot key command, but don't know what that is. However, this way worked.

Hi Sherri,
1. Go to first cell in your table
2. Press ALT and A for table menu
3. Use down arrow to you choose Select
4. Press right arrow to go to sub-menu
5. Select table by pressing enter
6. Press ALT and A again
7. Press up arrow until you find convert sub-menu
8. Press right arrow again . go to sub-menu
9. You then have two options:-
text to table
or table to text
10. Press enter on either option.
11. Follow tabs.
12. Press ok.
This is just a rough guide from memory - I did not have a table up on the screen.
Hope this works.
Regards
Chris Miles.
