Hello everyone
In case anyone missed the subject line, it is definately time to start collecting items for the auction that will be held at our state convention. 
We need to collect some really nice items to help defray the cost of the conventions. 


I've attached a few files of what Jacksonville is using for a request letter, a general receipt letter, and an example, of a more personalized receipt letter. 
This is for your convenience. You are welcome to edit them for your chapter's needs if you'd like, or create your own. If you have any questions about editing these, please let me know. 
Receipts are not required unless the donation is $250 or more in value. 
However,receipts are good business practice. You don't want contributors having to ask you for one. 

Please cover this in your next chapter meeting. 

Some popular items in the past have been:
Wine
gift baskets
electronics
autographed sports memorabilia
hotel nights

These are just a few, but you know what you would like to purchase. 
Get those re-gift items out of the closet. 
Let's all do our part collect some really good stuff.
