Hi Sherri,

Thank you so much for your kind words! There was indeed a lot going on this year. So much so that I barely had a 
chance to talk to anyone outside of our parents activities. Doreen is very appreciative of the help you and Holly
gave her. One of our goals this year is to continue with finding ways to connect chapters with families using the 
Saturday Program and Braille Clubs and then hopefully those families will start attending chapter meetings. 
Sometimes parents aren't aware that they need help until they hang around 
successful blind adults. That's where all of you fabulous NFBF members come in handy! 

I can send you the info from the bullying workshop and you and Rhett can go over it together. The 
information is general in nature and I changed the wording to address bullying concerning blindness issues. The
program is being used in all St. John's County schools and has started to spread to other school districts. I also 
saved you copies of the directions from the Braille workshop. Just send me your address off list and I will pop 
everything in the mail to you along with a membership form. We are happy to have you as a member! 
The dues are just $10 per family.

Lenora, You and the rest of the division did a superb job. I wish I could have attended some of the sessions, particularly the bullying workshop, because as my two daughters were growing up, they experienced some of that and so does my 13-year-old son who has issues of his own. While not truly visually impaired, he will not wear his glasses, because the kids pick on him. 
 
Anyway, I wish I could have somehow mastered being in two places at once as your workshops and break-out sessions sounded just wonderful! I enjoyed talking with Doreen. I hope some of what Holly and I told her is able to help. I am here if any parents need help or if there is anything I can do. I am sure I will learn a lot from being involved in this division too. I did not get a chance to pay my dues. I would like to join. How much are dues? Thanks.
