This is where I got my guide dog. Apparently, they are branching out into
other areas. Sounds positive to me.

“Some of us love to climb those walls.”
Jeff, 2011 Summer Experience Participant
When you're a teenager, summer should be about spending time
outside, making new friends, hanging with old friends and having new
experiences. That is exactly what happened at Leader Dog's week-long Summer
Experience program for kids age 16 and 17.
But it doesn't stop there—throughout the week the kids
strengthened their independence by learning simple, practical ways to
develop their leadership skills by building stronger relationships, having a
can-do attitude and focusing on having fun.
The impact this program has on the kids is amazing. Who says
blind kids can't climb walls? Not us. Not them. See for yourself.
We hope to provide this experience to even more kids next
summer. Like all our programs, the Summer Experience is provided free to all
participants. So we need your financial support to make this happen.
Please make a gift now so that more teens with visual impairment
can have a great Summer Experience that they'll remember for the rest of
their lives!
Given the chance, these kids can climb walls—and go all the way
to the top!
