[Nfbf-l] In Memory of Judie Hansen

Good evening all,

I was shocked to hear of this very sad news. I have known Judy since I first 
joined the NFBF in the late seventies and worked with her for many years on 
the NFBF Board. When Judy came back to Orlando, I visited her a couple of 
times and she was able to attend a chapter meeting here. When Katie was 
little, Judy passed on her son Erik's print-Braille books to me so I could 
read to Katie. I will never forget that. Judy is the person who taught me to 
never let NFB come before friendship. We had a disagreement because of the 
politics of NFB, but mended fences and all has been well for several years. 
I am so glad!!! Judy was a very kind and sweet person. She was also 
musically talented. The good thing is that she will be with her husband 
Michael again, but what a sad loss for the rest of us! Rest in peace Judy.
