ACCESSIBLE WORLD TEK TALK PRESENTS RICHARD OEHM, THE
DIGITAL RADIO AND TV AND OTHER PRODUCTS, MONDAY AUGUST 27, 8 PM EDT, THE PAT
PRICE ROOM: WWW.ACCESSIBLEWORLD.ORG

NEWSWIRE:

Monday August 27, 2012 Richard Oehm from Oehm Electronics will give a
talk about the products and services offered by his small business (Oehm
Electronics) and a short product demonstration of the Oehm Electronics
model ATSC-25 digital TV radio. Additionally, other products sold by
Oehm Electronics will also be discussed and briefly demonstrated.
These additional products include the Oehm Electronics model SKVU-1 VU
indicator and the Oehm Electronics auditory oscilloscope adaptation.
The VU indicator provides an audible way for totally blind audio
enthusiasts and engineers to measure audio levels. The Oehm Electronics
model SKVU-1 is an audible substitute for the visual VU meters and the
graphical digital displays found on studio conciles and other audio
recording equipment.
The Oehm Electronics auditory Oscilloscope adaptation allows a blind
electronics engineer or technician to observe and measure electrical
signal properties and characteristics using a tactile and audible
substitute for the visual graphical display found on standard issue
Oscilloscopes.
Additional topics to be covered include Oehm Electronics Optacon repair
services and repair services for other vintage Telesensory and Blazie
Engineering access technology offered by Oehm Electronics.
At the end of his presentation Richard Oehm plans to leave plenty of
time for questions and discussion about Oehm Electronics products and
services. Additionally, Richard will also entertain any ideas from the
audience regarding the development of new products or the improvement
and or refinement of existing Oehm Electronics products and or services.
