I really don't know much about the transportation in Brevard County other 
than to tell you it unfortunately is not very good. Welcome to Florida. Set 
your clocks back to the 1950's. Lol!

Hi all,
I just got moved into my new house in rockledge, near melbourne and viera.
I love hit here, sidewalks, sea breeze, etc.
I had surgery 3 weeks ago, which was an emergency thing, and then it
burst open after the staples came out, so i'm slowly getting back on
my feet.
I want to go to college, and get a bachelors degree in elementary
education and be a school teacher.
I've applied at brevard community college in melbourne and all of that.
My only obstical right now is that the space coast transit sucks from
what I found out today, the refuse to transport me to the college, and
told me that I could just walk the 3.5 miles to my nearest bus route
and jsut take the bus there, when I explained I couldnt' do that they
said they could get me a ride to the bus but that it oculdn't be
garuanteed, so obviously that won't work as i need a garuanteed thing.
I can't do cabs as I priced it at between 60 and 70 dollars round
trip.
I'm not sure if there are nay other services or ideas, but if anyone
knows any please please let me know.
I'm also in process of applying for another guide dog, and hope to get
one in december, january, march or may depending on when there is a
match and all of that fun stuff.
Also if there is any recreation stuff around here, or clubs, choirs,
etc. please let me know about that too, and if anyone lives in this
area, I'd be glad to talk to you.
