Buy an NFB Groupon July 11-18 to Support Braille Literacy through the
Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning (BELL) programs

The National Federation of the Blind, the nation's leading advocate for
Braille literacy, and Groupon Grassroots, the philanthropic arm of Groupon,
are teaming up to bring Braille into the lives of more blind children who
need it.

The NFB Groupon will be available on the Groupon page beginning on July 11,
and running through July 18. Groupon subscribers can pledge support for NFB
BELL programs in increments of $15, with each purchase helping to provide
one bag of Braille supplies to a blind child participating in the BELL
program.

The BELL program is a two-week intensive Braille program for all blind
children. It incorporates learning centers as well as group lessons and
blindness skills. Children participate in recess, explore physical
activities, and prepare their own lunches. At the end of the program, each
child receives a BELL bag that contains a gift certificate for a Braille
book, a slate and stylus, and other items based on each individual program.
Every $15 Groupon purchase will fund a BELL bag!

To participate in the Braille literacy effort, visit our unique Groupon
page. It can be found at

You must be a Groupon subscriber to purchase a Groupon. If you are not
currently a Groupon subscriber and would like to become one in order to
purchase a National Federation of the Blind Groupon, you may visit Groupon's
subscription Web page.

Spread the word about Braille literacy and the BELL program. Share this link
with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, and via e-mail. Every $15
helps to end the Braille literacy crisis!
