Hello, everyone. Yet another email question. I fixed a problem the other night and found emails I am sending to myself seem to just vanish. I don’t normally send emails to myself, unless I am testing whether it is working. It seemed that I could not send emails to anyone after doing some troubleshooting last night, but other people are getting my emails. I spent a couple of hours with a rep from our internet provider this afternoon who promised that it could be fixed in a few clicks, but he was unable to access my computer. He said something about unchecking certain things in the outgoing mail server, but of course I haven’t located that server. So, is this problem normal, is it a big deal? If so, how do we fix it? One of these days I am going to write a book about the woes of Windows Live Mail and buying computers from Wal-Mart. Honestly, are there really advantages to this program? Thank you.
