> Dear Convention Attendee:
>
> * UPS flat rate boxes! You will be able to purchase UPS boxes (12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches) in the Independence Market at convention this year. The low price of $15 will include the box itself and ground shipping to anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. The boxes have a standard $100 declared value and you cannot purchase additional coverage. If you find that you have picked up a little too much at the market or at the free literature table or in the exhibit hall, and don't want to overload your luggage for your trip home, try out one of these boxes. Supplies are limited! There will be a drop-off location for them in the Rosen Centre on Saturday, July 7. The exact time and place for drop-off will be announced when you purchase a box.
>
> * The Rosen Centre has recently installed free Wi-Fi in all the guest rooms! Rather than the common $12-15 per night that many hotels charge, the Rosen properties are offering it as an included amenity. While speeds may not be adequate to stream your favorite action movie, you should have no trouble sending e-mail or checking the convention agenda at www.nfb.org/national-convention. So bring your mobile device to Orlando.
>
> * Do you have a car, truck, or boat to donate? The National Federation of the Blind is now accepting donations. There will be a table set up in the back of the meeting room during General Session with someone available to answer your questions about donating a vehicle. Or call 1-855-659-9314 or visit www.carshelpingtheblind.org/ for more information.
>
> * The exhibit hall, Independence Market, and free literature table will be in the Convention Center, West Hall Section WA1, level 2. We are happy to have the following exhibitors this year.

> * There is still space still available in the Session I of the video description focus group on Monday, July 1, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. This is an opportunity for sighted amateur describers to evaluate YouDescribe—Smith-Kettlewell's new Web-based video-description tool for YouTube. Participants will test the system by recording their own descriptions for selected videos and report on their experience. For more information, please e-mail Beth Braun at bbraun at nfb.org, or call 410-659-9314, extension 2369.
