[Nfbf-l] Board minutes

Mr. Pres. you shouldn't be so concerned about what other affiliates or doing or not doing. You're the president of the national Federation of the Blind  of Florida. Posting the minutes is a way of showing transparency integrity and honesty. Although national may not post minutes are regular basis they do provide an annual report that shows how they have spent the money and the different categories. We live in an  age  where  organizations and nonprofits are being scrutinized more than ever by Federal-Mogul and state governments. Another thing to consider is the fact that the national Federation of  the Blind of   Florida does receive state funding to support NFB-Newsline it's important to be transparent especially when we have an administration at Dbs that is trying to be more transparent than ever.  Because we are an organization that receives public funding.  It is better to lead by example then to be made an example of.
