Subject: FW: Announcement: Virtual Job Fair – Available Jobs

As you have already heard, registration for the first Ticket to Work Virtual
Job Fair is now open! While we are continuing to add federal contractors to
the event, more than 10 companies that do business with the government have
signed up already, including:

  a.. Anthem
  b.. BMO Harris
  c.. Boston Scientific
  d.. CACI
  e.. CSX
  f.. Enterprise
  g.. General Motors
  h.. Grainger
  i.. Kaiser Permanente
  j.. McKesson
  k.. TD Bank
  l.. Turner Construction
These companies have job openings for people with many different skills and
experience levels and are particularly interested in hiring qualified people
with disabilities.

To help you and your beneficiaries, we have complied a list of jobs that
participating companies will highlight at the Virtual Job Fair and links to
the employers’ websites. We have also developed a flyer that contains
details about the Virtual Job Fair. Both materials are great resources for
you to use to promote the Virtual Job Fair to beneficiaries.

As a reminder, the fair will be held online, and over two days:

  a.. November 18: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET
  b.. November 19: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET
To participate in the Virtual Job Fair, a beneficiary must:

  a.. Be age 18 through 64 and receive Social Security disability benefits;
b.. Have assigned his or her Ticket to an approved Ticket to Work service
provider (an Employment Network or state Vocational Rehabilitation agency);
c.. Be ready for immediate work; and
d.. Be able to accept a job offer should it be made.
To register, have your beneficiary client complete the consent form at
www.choosework.net/vjfconsent, and submit to you to keep on file. Then, you
can either register him or her at
https://vts.inxpo.com/Launch/QReg.htm?ShowKey=23182 or provide him or her
the link, so he or she can register directly. Please ask the beneficiary to
not share the link with anyone else. A consent form MUST be on file for a
beneficiary to participate.
Note that by completing the consent form, a beneficiary consents to the
Social Security Administration (SSA) sharing his or her resume, Virtual Job
Fair profile and any other information he or she provides in connection with
the job fair (e.g., via chat sessions) with other participants in the SSA
Ticket to Work Virtual Job Fair, including but not limited to potential
employers.

If you or your beneficiaries have questions, contact vjf at choosework.net.
