[Nfbf-l] An Update on my Independence

Dear Nfb of Florida Family,

I wanted to give you an update on my independence.  Last week 
when I went to the Lighthouse of Central Florida for my weekly 
Access Technology course I went into the kitchen before class 
began.  I made a cup of coffee for the first time in a long time.  
On Wednesday July fifth I will begin taking the vocational 
rehabilitation Independent Living Skills course that is offered 
at the Lighthouse.  These are small steps toward improving my 
independence.
