For those of you against open carry of weapons, please call your state 
representative's office today and urge him or her to vote no on SB616.

Last evening, in an unusual and quick move, Speaker Corcoran pulled SB 
616--Courthouse Carry--"out of messages" and sent it to the House floor even 
though there was no House companion to the Senate bill. It is due to be 
heard in the House today. In addition, an amendment has been filed to the 
bill that would allow permit holders to "briefly and openly display" their 
firearms.


Please call your House Representative and tell them to vote NO on SB 616. 
This bill had no committee vetting. No public testimony in the House. It is, 
once again, legislation that would loosen gun regulations in our state.
