Hi All:

Thanks to all who attended our NFB 411 Legislative Call regarding voting and
Democracy Live. Below are some of the issues we discussed regarding voting
in this unprecedented time.

*	If you are going to vote by mail, with a paper ballot (at this
current time for the majority of the state), please request your mail-in
ballot now.
*	Do not wait until the last minute to mail your ballot in. This is
extremely important! Postmarked ballots will not count if received by the
Supervisor of Elections office after the election has concluded. For
example, your ballot is postmarked November 1, but is not received until
November 4, will not be counted. Please allow for up to three weeks for your
ballot to be received by the county Supervisor of Elections.
*	If you are going to mail your ballot back, try going to one of the
drop boxes available for this purpose, bring it to a polling precinct or
take it directly to your Supervisor of Elections office prior to the
deadline date. You may contact your SOE to find out where the closest drop
box is, polling precinct or SOE office location.
*	Please use black ink to sign your ballot and/or return envelope.
Other colors may not be accepted by the Supervisor of Elections.

If you are going to vote in a polling precinct, remember that you have the
right to vote privately! If the accessible voting machine is out in the open
with no privacy screen or curtain or, is not placed in such a way that your
back is a minimum 40 inches from a wall, that is not private voting. If any
poll worker sits or stands close enough to read while you are marking your
ballot and you have no privacy screen or curtain, that is also a violation
of the rules and protocols. Please reach out to your county Supervisor of
Elections to file a complaint. Additionally, please send issues of this
nature to me. Voting privately and independently is a cornerstone of our
right to vote.

Warmly,

Camille

Sincerely,
