[NFBF-L] Extra Extra! Guest speaker added - Sunrise and Shine, Thursday August 20th - Important discussion

Hi again everyone,

Wanted to follow-up on the email I sent earlier about tomorrows Zoom call. 

We will have a special guest speaker on our call tomorrow morning. Frank Copell, President of the NFB of South Carolina will be with us to provide info on the Palmetto States annual convention being held virtually this coming weekend. Frank told me that everyone in Florida is welcome to attend he exciting event, (even if you did not register). I personally think that with our Florida convention coming up in October, we could learn a thing or two from our friends on the other side of Georgia. Having spent my high school and college years in South Carolina, it will be fun to have Frank and other Carolinians in our midst. 

Maybe if we’re lucky, someone from Columbia will bring us some tasty BBQ.

Hope to see everyone at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Good Morning Everyone!

Sunrise and Shine with NFB Newsline, our change of pace Zoom call with
Affiliate members and special guests is turning out to be a terrific  way
for folks to gather for a short while and share a morning beverage. we are
learning a little something each week about NFB Newsline and then segwaying
into a conversational topic. I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to the regular attendees on our Thursday call. To those folks who have been with us since the beginning, can you believe we started Sunrise and Shine way back on April 16th? If you are  doing math at home, tomorrow will mark our 17th call in total. We’ve picked up new friends along the way, and have even acquired callers from outside of the state and outside of the U. S.   who are now attending as regularly as our charter members. Tomorrow I’d like to spend a bit of time discussing how  our delightful coffee hour can shine its light on the upcoming NFB of Florida golden anniversary convention being  held in October. I’d also like to take the opportunity to discuss where everyone wants Sunrise and Shine to head in the future. With all that said, I’m putting the call out to one and all to join us tomorrow. If you haven’t joined us in a bit, your  presence is surely needed and welcome.

Join us this Thursday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. We always have lots of fun
on our calls, and the smiles and laughs seem to go on and on,  from start to
finish. My question to you is, who spilled the coffee beans about our
wonderful weekly call? Apparently during National Convention, word got out
to folks all over about how much fun Sunrise and Shine is, and so it
wouldn't surprise me  if we have some guests join us from outside of
Florida. Let's all welcome them and show them what hospitality from the
Sunshine State is all about.

We will use the Zoom platform for the call, but if you haven't spent much
time on Zoom, don't let that keep you away). There are several different
ways to call in, including the familiar conference call method of using your
landline or mobile phone to dial a phone number and  access code. I hope
that with Sunrise and Shines out of the ordinary time slot , we will get to
hear from some of the family and friends we have been missing. 

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the
call at our NFB Newsline of Florida toll-free support line. Check the bottom
of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions. Looking forward to visiting
