This is rather shocking news! I have known Carol and the Feazell family for
years and years. I always admired the closeness they shared and their love
of the Federation on all levels. I was particularly close to Carol's
daughter Susan as she lived in Daytona for several years and was active in
our chapter. Carol truly was the pillar of her family and I know her
children are heartsick over the loss of their beloved mother.
One thing is for certain! Carol now resides with the Lord and is finally
reunited with her husband Barry! They were a very special couple and it was
tough for Carol to look at life without Barry. She was strong though and she
made the necessary adjustment to move forward and to keep her family close!
We shall all miss this sweet lady!
With a heavy heart,
Kathy

Good Afternoon all:
It is with great sadness that I write to you today to report the passing of
our long time member, and dear friend, Carol Feazell.
The details are still unknown to me at this time, but I know that during
this time, Carol's family will need our thoughts and prayers.
Carol lived all of her adult life as a Federationist, even raising her
children in the organization. Both she and her late husband Barry served as
the President of our great chapter.
As more details become available, I will provide them.
With Best Wishes
Kaye Baker
President, National Federation of the Blind of Florida
Greater Jacksonville Chapter
