[NFBF-L] Difficulty putting a new tip on my NFB folding cane

Hi, Sherri,
If the tip is simply a slide on tip and not one that hooks to a bungie, I’d try putting a bit of wet soap on both the tip and the cane head and see if that allows the tip to pop on easily.
Just a thought.
Best,
Russ

Subject: [NFBF-L] Difficulty putting a new tip on my NFB folding cane
Hello NFBFL family. This seems like a very silly question, especially, because I have accomplished this before. My NFB folding cane lost its tip. I have another one. I have been trying without success to put the tip on my cane. I have put it on the floor and put my weight on it, but I’m afraid I’ll break the cane. I have put it upside down and tried to hammer it on. Does anyone have any suggestions how to put the new tip on my folding cane? Any hints and help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Sherri
