[NFBN-Announce] Urgent: Independence Market Volunteers Needed

[NFB of Nebraska]

Dear Federation Family,

As we prepare for the 2026 National Federation of the Blind National
Convention in Austin, Texas, we are once again being asked to help provide
volunteers for the Independence Market.

The Independence Market is an important part of our national convention and
provides valuable resources, technology, and tools to blind people from
across the country. It takes many volunteers to keep everything running
smoothly, and this is a wonderful opportunity to give back while helping
fellow Federationists.

Volunteers may serve as demonstrators, storekeepers, line marshals, or
cashiers. Most demonstrator shifts total about six hours during the week,
while some other positions may have slightly longer shifts.

Please please let me know as soon as possible if you are willing and able to
help work a shift during convention. We need to submit names quickly, so I
am asking everyone interested to contact me no later than May 13.
